User names -- let's try again

Category: Let's talk

There have been so many new members joining since I originally asked people how they came up with their user names that I have decided to start the topic again. So if you did not respond the old topic, please let us all read about how you came up with your current user name.

Mine is obvious, I love cats. On other boards I have just used my first name but decided to do something different this time.

well, on other boards, i'd use names like my favourite characters out of soaps, but this time, i went down a completely different road. i got my user name from a caracter from lord of the rings, sheelob. she is the most evil spider for anyone who hasn't read it. i'm not evil, just like the name. so, there you have it.

My story is simple: My name is Ines. In the region of Germany where I come from, you often hang the silable "Le" on the name, that means "little". Some of my relatives call me Inesle. 1987 is my birth year. That's it.

NO lets give it a rest and put our imaginations to better use by coming up with an original theme for a post

Why is it that you can post hundreds of useless and pointless topics, but if someone else posts something you don't like, you have to be on the attack. Maybe I should have started a post about how many different words mean the same thing as jerk. Goblin would be the first.

Hi everyone,
Well my username is pretty obvious too, as it's a good discription of myself. I'm a massive daydreamer and am always going off into daydream when i should be concentrating on other things like my college work! The number 27 is the first part of my date of birth.

actually i have no idea where my user name came from. my very first nick on a chat site was CJ, it's my initials, when I joined allInPlay my user name was squeak because it's my cat's name. when i signed up here I wanted something that made me different, not that i didn't wanna be known, just ... wanted a change, so picked a name out of nowhere

Goblin: A few days ago when I was on here and had my mass quicknotes turned on, several new people actually brought up the topic of user names. I jumped into the conversation and stated that I had started a topic about user names several months ago. They were the ones who suggested I start it again since the original topic is buried. I did specify that only people who did not respond before should respond here. So why did you even bother responding with your negative comments? Who the hell made you the topic police? Just stay away from topics that don't interest you. It is not necessary to constantly put people down for their topics or comments.

I cannot believe that user names are a big priority in peoples lives dear me, have they run out of inspiration entirely, it would seem so.
